What you’ll do:

• Leading a team of Data Engineers to develop Data Engineering pipelines to support data integration from on-premise and cloud applications

• Leading a team of UX and Full stack developers to develop a customer-centric user interface for CIP's data product offerings.

• Leading a team of DevOps, MLOps, and QA to enable validation and machine learning pipeline development for ML/AI models deployed in on-premise and cloud environments.

• Developing strategy for analytics platform and effective execution of the same to enable efficient delivery of ML models through the platform.

• Overall, AI Engineering manager is responsible for driving AI product development with software engineering principles.

• Hiring and developing new talent and growing the organization's capabilities and capacity in the AI Engineering domain

• Developing and growing existing talents to further their career, scope, and influence across the company

• Works with technology leadership to create internal awareness and strategy for adopting emerging machine learning product development methodologies by executing an effective communication plan.

• Developing and embedding automated processes for platform onboarding, reporting, analytics usage tracking, data quality assessment, data versioning, and AI model operations.

• Works hand-in-hand with the data science teams, product managers, product owners, program managers, and Eaton businesses to ensure that the products are delivered to the best quality and on time.

• Manage and oversee complex programs and projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders

• Drive the adoption of agile development methodologies, including Scrum, across the organization by ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed.

• Lead overall Engineering execution for AI Engineering function

Qualifications:

• M Tech / Ph.D

• 13+ Years

• ML/AI, Software Eng-ineering, Agile/SAFe/LEAN

• People management, Agile Scrum Master, Global Project Management, Technology strategy, Project Proposals, Scoping, Stage GATE product development process, Risk Management.

Skills:

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field

• 13+ years of experience in Software product development

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML-based product development

• Minimum 5+ years experience as Engineering Manager and skilled in resource management

• Strong leadership skills and ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff

• 5+ years experience in agile development methodologies such as Agile/SAFe/LEAN

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects with cross-functional team members

• Strong strategic mindset and proven track record of effective implementation of strategy

• Proven track record of ML/AI-based new product development and releases with hands-on experience in managing Data science and data engineering projects

• Sound knowledge of product lifecycle management and software development lifecycles i.e. Waterfall, Agile and incremental, etc.

• Strong project management skills and experience with project management methodologies and tools

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
