Location of the position

This position is available in Haarlem (NL) or near our TAPI sites in Italy, Hungary, Croatia or Czechia.

The opportunity

Due to the divestiture of TAPI from TEVA, we are building finance functions in finance. In line with the TAPI transformation journey, we are looking for an experienced FP&A professional to come on board as TAPI Head of FP&A.

Reporting into the CFO, this role will provide hands on support in leading all FP&A initiatives for TAPI.

How you’ll spend your day

Strategic Analysis and Thought Leadership

  • Evaluate and communicate key insights

  • Develop a solid understanding of market peers.

  • Proactively drive analyses of business performance and results with succinct recommendations on go forward drivers.

  • Enhance existing KPI reporting and analysis to highlight business drivers and actions. Ensure deep understanding of KPI definitions and comparison to market.

Business Partnership:

  • Develop strong business partnership with a growth-oriented mindset and an innate ability to enable business leaders to make better decisions and improve performance.

  • Build a monthly reporting package that quickly highlights results and insights for all elements P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet

  • Lead various business case analyses related to investment and payback, BD cases…

  • Maintain a close eye on cash utilization with an orientation toward identifying savings and improving operational efficiency.

  • Partner across the org on various project-based analyses.

Corporate planning and analysis

  • Lead monthly financial reporting for the business with key analytics in synthesis

  • Lead annual and long-term planning cycle for the business; establish timeline, processes , assumptions and investment framework in partnership with stakeholders

  • Establish a metrics-based approach to explaining key business drivers that also creates action-oriented insights for the team.

  • Ensure all planning, forecasting and reporting is completed on a timely basis.

  • Drive process improvement: identify manual processes, increase standardization, and accelerate adoption of automation.

Lead systems and process optimization projects and other transversal strategic projects as required.

Team:

  • Recruit & Develop 1-2 team members

  • Develop and coach the team to support its goals, alignment to business activities and impact.

Your experience and qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of experience, ideally in Pharmaceutical – Chemical international or and API companies

  • 360 versatile profile with hands on ability as well as strategic thinker with ability to step back and assess the big picture.

  • Skilled at communicating financial concepts to a non-financial audience in a compelling manner.

  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling a team coupled with driving automation in daily activities.

  • Analytical mindset, but also creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with a positive attitude and solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Self-motivated and analytical with ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities.

  • Proactive approach to stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels within an organization, including members of the executive leadership team.

  • Proven success as an FP&A leader.
