What you’ll do:

As Senior Quality Engineer you will be dedicated to our various automotive products manufactured at Győr site. In this role you are championing high quality for Eaton’s strategic automotive customers: handling complaints, managing root cause analysis and suggesting corrective actions. The role will focus supporting the special EV Fuses product family for new high-powered electrified vehicles: https://www.eaton.com/at/en-gb/catalog/emobility/ev-fuses.html

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance for project quality teams

  • Building up procedure and maintain milestones within APQP processes

  • Communicate results and actions towards to customers

  • Coordinating of internal and customer complaints.

  • Notifying the customer in case of deviation or suspected product failure, coordinating the further actions (sorting, return delivery, rework, etc.)

  • Drive cross functional technical teams to identify containment and determine root cause for Customer issues.

  • Acting and evaluate as a Customer representative, understanding the customer's specific requirements and supervision of their implementation

  • Improve efficiency via metrics and KPI optimization and monitoring such as Count of claims, DPPM, Response Time etc.

  • Provide cross functional team with customer priorities to properly address the issues according to their criticality

  • Oversee RMA (Return material authorization) process and drive to minimize RMA cycle time

  • Monitor and act on Customer satisfaction

  • Management of Customer Scorecards, internal KPIs to Quality Manager

  • Participation and leading of internal and external audits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management and other related field of studies

  • Relevant working experience in the automotive industry, preferably in customer, supplier or production quality area.

  • Hands on knowledge/application of quality tools, statistics and problem solving techniques (SPC, 8D, 5why, PDCA, Ishikawa etc);

  • Knowledge and working experience of IATF16949 and Customer Specific Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian.

  • VDA 6.3 & VDA 6.5 Audit experience is desirable

  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable
