Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Finance Business Partner

Overview

Responsible for a broad range of finance related responsibilities and acts as a finance generalist for Technology Localization projects.

Activities include short and long-term planning, Project finance, business case building , technology cost allocations and cross-business unit funding alignment.

Responsibilities

  1. Drives divisional financial reporting (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, target setting)

  2. Provides financial insights to leadership, leveraging an advanced understanding of budgeting, long range planning and forecasting models.

  3. Translates operational metrics to cost drivers to inform planning models.

  4. Develops flexible spending plans that may be triggered by sudden changes in global economic factors.

  5. Partners with technology providers to prioritize investments within approved funding targets .

  6. Partners with regions, product teams, technology providers and corporate entities to assist in developing, analyzing and validating new business opportunities.

  7. Partners with Sourcing and technology providers to assess and execute vendor agreements, that range in size and complexity.

  8. Assists with strategy and process improvements to ensure alignment with market objectives; proactively identifies ways to improve processes and executes agreed upon improvements.

Experiences

a. Minimum 6 years of work experience into Finance Business Partnering (or similar) role.

b. Ability to oversee the completion of global, complex management reporting (e.g.. monthly financial results, quarterly forecasting, annual budgets, vendor deal analysis)

c. A proven track record building internal and external business partnerships; develops and leverages key relationships in order to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders.

d. A desire to understand the services provided by technology units.

e. Experience consulting business units on risk and opportunity considerations, leveraging advanced analytical techniques as well as outside trends and events.

f. Extensive experience setting strategy for process improvement initiatives along with developing procedures for implementation.

g. Successfully embodies change management; executes corporate cultural initiatives, enhancing the support of an ever-evolving environment to fulfill corporate goals and objectives.
