The Role: IT Service Operations, Specialist

The Team: The Mobility Division within S & P Global leverage technology and data science to provide unique insights, forecasts and advisory services spanning every major market and the entire automotive value chain—from product planning to marketing, sales, and the aftermarket. The Technology Operations Team works collaboratively, both internally and across our customer base, operating in a sharing and learning culture to maintain continuous access to our products. This role will be with the Service Delivery function of the Technology Operations team.

The Impact: The Mobility Division within S&P Global is seeking an experienced and self-motivated ITSM Manager who is passionate about maintaining and improving ITSM processes that deliver service to the Mobility business. The role encompasses keeping the lights on for existing ITSM process and BAU Delivery backlog. The role will leverage tools and automation within the organisation to improve customer experience when working with both Mobility and Corporate technology teams. The candidate should have experience with ServiceNow and be in a similar role delivering IT services to internal or external customers. The candidate will also have a broad knowledge of IT hosting in On-Prem/VMC and Cloud (AWS preferable) environment. The candidate should possess a passion for automation, be comfortable in a regulated environment, and be willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer delight.

As the organization expands into AWS you will be exposed to the latest technologies and will be part of a team to design and implement service improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of Product related changes including Quality Assurance in readiness for audits.

  • Build and document change and problem processes. Socialize the process across the Mobility division.

  • Design and Implement APIs to support change and problem processes.

  • Coordinate with DTS (Digital Technology Services) to understand impact and schedule of Infrastructure changes.

  • Drive and support adherence to Data accuracy in ServiceNow (this includes but not limited to tag compliance etc …)

  • Support Data certification Readiness.

  • Drive enhancements to ServiceNow catalogue items.

  • Drive automation to existing process to enhance customer experience with technology teams.

  • Create dashboards to track KPIs and provide regular reports for Senior Leadership review.

  • Manage SLAs and outcomes with DTS teams on Infra Change and Problem that are related to the Mobility Division

  • Manage customer escalations to resolution with the appropriate teams.

  • Overall governance of Change and Problem Tasks.

  • Assessment and Assignment of Mobility Technology Service Request and governance of other service request assigned to DTS teams for fulfillment.

  • Support and provide ITSM data as per Audit requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for someone who has

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of experience in similar role

  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving ability along with strong written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical language.

  • A strong capacity for teamwork and a sense of ownership and able to work independently and be self-driven.

  • Hands on Experience with ServiceNow a must

  • Intermediate to Expert level in using MS Office products like Powerpoint, Excel and Word.

  • ITIL Foundation certificate

  • Awareness of tools like PagerDuty, Tanium, Centreon, Monolith etc or similar is preferable.

  • Technical background in Development and/or IT Support is beneficial.
