The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

In this role, you will work as an operation support specialist in the new Global S4 HANA team being created in the strategic ERP Transformation Organization. You will work in an international company with a great history, having many divisions and subsidiaries all over the world. You can become part of a great journey together with us to optimize and grow the company with the benefits of SAP S/4 HANA application working in a private cloud. You will work with colleagues from different regions, lead meetings, and take responsibility for the SAP PTP (Plan to Produce)/QM workstream.

Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• PtP/P2P and QM stream - Ability to demonstrate S4 HANA processes in Plan to Produce and Quality Management processes

• Experience in PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) implementation & customizing

• Strong knowledge in setting up various kinds of planning processes and integration with other planning solutions like SAP IBP, APO, and third-party planning solutions

• Experience in dealing with key integration areas procurement, supply chain, warehouse management, and Quality

• Experience in S4 Conversion, workflow, interfaces, and EDI

• Will work with the operations team in support break/fix activities

• Work in an international team, using collaboration tools, to operate as one cohesive Operations team.

• Conduct working sessions with business users as required to clarify requirements or troubleshoot issues.

• Research and apply OSS notes as required to resolve issues.

• Work in Corning’s ITSM related applications like ServiceNow, Teams, Sharepoint, SAP ChaRM

• Will be in an on-call rotation supporting the team/organization, expected to meet SLA commitments defined by IT and agreed upon by the organization.

• Develop documentation and testing procedures and perform knowledge sharing sessions with the operations team

Education & Experience:

• 3+ years SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4

• Proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge, and Technical Solution Design

• Excellent communication and written skills to aid in RICEF creation and design document creation.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP best practices

Desired Skills:

• Experience in other SAP modules

• Development experience (ABAP is a strong plus)

• Fiori, Adobe Forms, and Workflow experience

• Proficiency in debugging complex programs

• ServiceNow experience

Soft Skills:

• Written and oral communication in English and customer service skills

• Able to perform under pressure during times like a system down situation.

• Good teamwork, ability to work across multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
