Position Description:

In this role, you will work as an Operation Support Specialist in the new Global S4 HANA team being created in the strategic ERP Transformation Organization. You will work in an international company with a great history, having many divisions and subsidiaries all over the world. You can become part of a great journey with us to optimize and grow the company with the benefits of SAP S/4 HANA application working in a private cloud. You will work with colleagues from different regions, lead meetings, and take responsibility for the ABAP development workstream.

Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Analyzing software requirements to determine design feasibility and developing ABAP solutions as per the design document requirements

• Working with the operations team in support break/fix activities

• Working in an international team, using collaboration tools, to operate as one cohesive Operations team

• Conducting working sessions with business users as required to clarify requirements or troubleshoot issues

• Researching and applying OSS notes as required to resolve issues

• Working in Corning's ITSM related applications like ServiceNow, Teams, SharePoint, SAP chARM

• Being in an on-call rotation supporting the team/organization, expected to meet SLA commitments defined by IT and agreed upon by the organization

• Developing documentation and testing procedures and performing knowledge sharing sessions with the operations team

Education & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4

• Proficiency in Technical Solution Design, Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, and Architecture Knowledge

• Excellent communication and written skills to aid in RICEF creation and design document creation

• In-depth knowledge of SAP best practices

Required Skills:

• Development skills in ABAP and ABAP OO

• CDS view development is preferable

• Experience with enhancement knowledge including BADI, user-exit, enhancement

• Strong system integration skills including RFC, webservice, IDOC

• Experience with Adobe forms and Workflow

• Development skills in S4HANA include ODATA Service

• S4HANA Fiori experience is preferable

• Experienced SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Consultant to work on identifying and resolving complex technical issues within our customer service-level agreements

Desired Skills:

• Functional experience in SAP modules

• EWM system experience

• ServiceNow experience

Soft Skills:

• Written and oral communication in English and customer service skills

• Able to perform under pressure during times like a system down situation

• Good teamwork, ability to work across multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Needs to be a self-starter with strong analytical thinking skills, able to work independently
