This position is an entry-level and developmental building maintenance/sanitation position. Essential Job Functions: Other duties may be assigned. Perform basic scheduled maintenance/upkeep of assigned DC assets and equipment Ensure all BRC/YUM requirements are met and maintained Assist with all DC maintenance/sanitation requirements such as, but not limited to: Cleaning and sanitizing tractor and trailers with power washer Repairing trailer walls and strip curtains in trailers Operate pallet jack and forklift Remove all returning product, load bars, and pallets from trailer Unload inbound deliveries as directed Stack plastic and wood pallets Handle will-calls Dock doors repairs Racking repairs Ramps, handcarts, and load lock repair Painting Effectively communicate both written and orally with supervisors and peers Work independently and in a team environment Be trained and certified to operate any required equipment within 30 days Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the job Work in warm and cold temperatures Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, grasp and reach above the head for extended periods of time Have 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance or sanitation Have experience with Distribution Center industrial equipment, including, but not limited to forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Have knowledge of OSHA regulations
