Associate Analyst, Account Management, Launch Program 2025 – Guangzhou, China

The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience. Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on the job experience.

Job Description:

During your 18 months within Mastercard, your major accountabilities may include:

•Assist Account Managers to complete routine business processes

•Create materials for contracts, agreement, pitching/presentation deck under Account Managers’ guidance

•Support Account Managers execute initiatives across multiple business functions

•Support Account Leads on team activity management and performance tracking

•Ensure up-to-date with the market and industry development, contribute ideas to enhance Mastercard competitive edge

•Support internal data research and analysis in weekly and monthly base for key accounts

•Support documentations by preparing for contracts and assisting in processing data for customer review materials

Education:

• Graduating seniors - Class of 2025

• Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above (all majors welcome to apply)

Key Competencies:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong strategic and conceptual aptitude

• Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects concurrently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience and Skills needed:

• Well-rounded individual with significant extracurricular involvement

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills

• Ability to work on a team and independently

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Attention to detail

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English and the local office language (viz. Mandarin)
