V2X Supply Technician in Guam

Overview

This position is physically located in Guam in support of LOGCAP

Responsible for providing Augmentation Support to the Guam Installation Supply Support Activity (ISSA) and supply-related functional requirements in accordance with (IAW) the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program V (LOGCAP V or LCV) Program Performance Work Statement (PWS) and applicable Technical Exhibit (TE). Reports directly to the Vectrus Guam ISSA Supply Technician, Lead, Supply Supervisor, or Supply Manager. Maintains records and Material Release Orders (MROs) for shipping. Provides confirmation for all items shipped. Establishes and maintains stock records and other documents, such as inventory, materiel control, accounting, and supply reports. Reviews and verifies quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents. Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment.

  • Under general direction of the Vectrus Supply Technician, Lead, Supply Supervisor, or Supply Manager, directly provides Augmentation support to the U.S. Army’s Installation Supply Support Activity (ISSA) Accountable Officer (AO) or ISSA Sr. Leadership in performance of the ISSA’s mission.

  • Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs materiel dues-in and dues-out accounting.

  • Corrects error and exception documents.

  • Maintains stock locator system and administers document control procedures.

  • Repairs and constructs fiberboard or wooden containers.

  • Packs, crate, stencils, weighs, and bands equipment and supplies.

  • Constructs bins, shelving, and other storage aids.

  • Processes requests and turn-in documents at Direct Support-level through the Warehousing Section.

  • Processes inventories, surveys, and warehousing documents.

  • Prepares, annotates, and distributes shipping documents.

  • Operates Materiel Handling Equipment (MHE).

  • Must be familiar with Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

  • Must have an active US passport.

  • Experience:

  • 3-years working experience in supply warehouse operations and/or at least 3-years work experience as an US Army MOS 92A10 level or equivalent experience. Mid- to Senior-level expertise in supervisory functions.

  • Proficient in the use Microsoft Office products (i.e. Power Point, Word, Excel).

  • Must have knowledge in classifying and specifying supplies.

  • Skills:

  • Good oral and written communication skills required. Experienced in using computer automated systems, MS office applications such as word, excel etc.

  • Must have computer knowledge in order to understand the GCSS-Army.

  • Possess a valid civilian drivers licenses and be capable to obtain a military driver licenses up to the LMTV.

  • Pick-up and drop off supplies and equipment to/from the designated Bulk Break Points (BBP) and deliver them to/from the SSA.

  • Working Conditions:

  • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).

  • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.

  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

  • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
