Environmental Project Manager Job Locations US-OH-Columbus Category Environmental Type Full-Time Overview Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) continues to grow and expand. We have an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Project Manager to augment our established Environmental Practice in our Columbus, Ohio office. You will be responsible for managing environmental assessment and remediation projects for real estate, mining, power sector, manufacturing, and public sector clients; managing current clients and developing new clients, and mentoring junior staff. Qualifications B.S. in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field (M.S. a plus); Professional license preferred (Ohio Certified Professional, PG, PE, or "in-training"); 5 to 10+ years' experience executing and managing environmental projects under federal/state programs and industry standards; Proficient in scoping and managing subsurface investigations, as well as developing investigation and remediation work plans, corrective action plans and final reports; Experience managing and executing brownfield redevelopment/remediation projects; Experience managing and executing underground storage tank removal, assessment, and remediation projects; Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations; Experience managing environmental due diligence projects, including Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments following ASTM guidelines; Strong management, team building, and interpersonal skills; Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including experience as client advocate in negotiations with state agencies. Experience with client management and business development activities; especially within the Midwestern United States; Experience with federal and state grants/funded work a plus; Proficient in electronic data management and tabulation; Experience with human health risk assessment a plus; Environmental Permitting/compliance and regulatory reporting program experience a plus.
