Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command Food Service Worker in Grissom AFB, Indiana

Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Grissom Club on Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. The position is a flexible position, which means you are not guaranteed hours or benefits but could work anywhere between 0 and 40 hours per week. Flex employees will be eligible for the use of the fitness center, lodging, and other activities. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts. Responsibilities · Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and cold menu items (e.g., salad, dessert, bread and cold beverages) on a serving line. · Removes dishes and trays from tables · Operates, breaks down and clean all electrical equipment for food preparation. · Cleans kitchen equipment (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerator). · Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses and silverware in dishwashing area. · Loads and operates dishwasher, stores clean dishes, glasses and silverware. · Washes tables and counters, vacuums and shampoos carpets. · Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, washes walls and cleans and sanitizes trashcans. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
