This is a Job Description for a 2^nd^ Shift Value Stream Facilitator in Grenada, Mississippi

Summary:

 This is an indirect hourly position reporting directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating activities in the assigned Value Stream to ensure that Safety, Quality and Productivity goals are being met using Lean tools.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure labor is utilized effectively. Address any equipment and tooling issues with appropriate department. Create schedule for the Value Stream to efficiently utilize equipment and labor resources. Work with Sales and Drafting to ensure quality levels and Production schedules are maintained. Must have extensive knowledge of product design and specification. Must utilize systems (scheduling systems, SAP, etc.) proficiently. Very knowledgeable of shop floor control and manufacturing processes and procedures. Maintain all required reporting (hour by hour board, dashboard, etc.) Will act as Production Supervisor in their absence. Maintain safe working environment and good housekeeping practices. Drive continuous improvement by leading Kaizen activities. Ensure team understands and participates in reaching daily, weekly and monthly objectives.

: Team Oriented, leading by example while exemplifying Modine Values. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. Proficiency with Office tools. Flexible schedule required. Through understanding of Lean Principles and experience in implementation. Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills. Strong Organizational skills. Must be able to perform ALL functions in the Value Stream. HS diploma and/or GED required. AA/AS degree: a plus or a minimum 5 years in production.
