Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Credit Clerk to join our team in the Professional Services industry, based in Greer, South Carolina. The role is primarily centered on providing customer service, specifically handling customer credit applications and inquiries. The workplace is an in-office setting, and the role requires a high level of detail-orientation and organization.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments.

• Handle cash transactions and manage petty cash, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.

• Collaborate with a team to provide the best customer service.

• Utilize software tools to manage customer accounts and financial transactions.

• Ensure strict adherence to company policies and guidelines related to credit and cash handling.

• Address and resolve customer issues related to credit services.

• Contribute to the overall customer service experience in a professional manner. Requirements • Prior experience in the professional services industry, preferably in a customer service role

• Ability to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently

• Experience handling petty cash and cash transactions

• Proficiency in cash handling and maintaining accurate cash records

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach

• Ability to work well in a team and foster a positive work environment

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges

• High level of personal and professional integrity

• Proficiency in using basic computer software and applications.
