PART TIME ORDER, 20 HOURS A WEEK!

We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to become a part of our team in the Professional Services industry, located in GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colorado. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be entrusted with managing data entry, handling complex invoices, and reconciling vendor statements. We also expect you to interact with vendors and answer their queries, ensuring a smooth operation within the accounts payable department.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and prompt data entry of vendor information into the system

• Handle complex invoices, ensuring they are processed correctly

• Respond to vendor inquiries, maintaining good relationships and communication

• Perform reconciliations of vendor statements and bank accounts

• Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform your duties effectively

• Carry out other tasks as necessary to support the accounts payable department.

Requirements • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry

• Familiarity with accounting software like Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Ability to perform account reconciliation and check runs

• Experience in coding invoices and processing invoices

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) principles and best practices

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field would be considered an advantage.
