Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the team of one of their top energy customers in Schenectady. Below is an overview of the main responsibilities:

• Assist in engineering qualification of stator bars and H35 Generator with supplier

• Create test plan, implement the test plan and documentation.

• Work with internal teams on interfaces and meeting technical requirements.

• Track weekly manufacturing progress at their customer site and update drawings/BOMs (bill of material) as

necessary

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering

• 5-8 years of experience in an engineering role

• Knowledge of power generation Generators

• Familiar with PLM software

• Experience in project organization with successful experience communicating with cross

functional teams, external teams and management

• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a matrix environment with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain

working relationship with team members Familiarity with Generator Bill of Materials is desired

Fluent in English is required, fluent in German is desired null
