Robert Half Front Desk Coordinator in Greenville, South Carolina

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in the healthcare industry. Located in GREENVILLE, South Carolina, our organization plays a crucial role in providing social assistance. With this role, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, handling a variety of duties including greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, warmly greeting them upon arrival

• Accept and manage deliveries with due diligence

• Operate a switchboard, handling incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate department or person

• Maintain up-to-date office directories, ensuring all contact information is current and accurate

• Provide support to other administrative staff with overflow work such as word processing, data entry, and research when needed

• Utilize Spanish language skills to assist in receptionist duties when necessary

• Ensure the front desk area is always clean, organized, and welcoming for visitors

• Handle and resolve any inquiries related to visitor or call-related issues

• Effectively manage time and tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Requirements • Familiarity with the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry

• Proficiency in Spanish language is crucial for effective communication with diverse clientele

• Proven experience in receptionist duties or similar roles, including handling phone calls and scheduling appointments

• Exceptional organizational skills for managing patient records and coordinating office operations

• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, medical professionals, and insurance providers

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare industry regulations

• Proficiency in using medical software for managing and updating patient records

• Strong problem-solving skills to address patient issues and office-related challenges

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Proactive in learning about new healthcare procedures and processes to improve service delivery

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per office requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration or relevant fields will be advantageous.
