Robert Half is partnering with a growing Manufacturing company who is seeking an Accounting Specialist. This role entails working in a standard office environment, performing tasks related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations. The Accounting specialist will be expected to exhibit proficiency in various skills including data entry, discrepancy identification, and check processing. Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable procedures.

• Maintain and update accounting records with transactions and payments.

• Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate records.

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in customer credit accounts.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze financial data.

• Ensure accuracy in data entry of financial transactions.

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable records.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Perform other accounting functions as needed

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Check Processing

• Data Entry skills

• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies

• Experience in the Manufacturing industry

• Understanding of AP/AR Clerk job function
