Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc., a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Salesforce Architect based at our Greenville, NC location .

What you will do:

Solution Architecture Design

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes.

• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and best practices.

• Create architectural designs, including data models, system integrations, and customizations, to meet business requirements.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the implementation process.

• Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for Salesforce implementation projects.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce capabilities, features, and roadmap.

• Enhanced and well-designed solution architecture, effective governance policies, and robust data support for business systems.

• This is achieved through active liaison with business stakeholders, facilitating the elicitation, analysis, communication, and validation of requirements.

• Process redesign and improvement activities are executed, incorporating “best practices” approaches.

• The solutions delivered are expected to align seamlessly with the ongoing business strategy.

Maintain Existing Architecture

• Conduct research into HYMH use of Salesforce, producing a report with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions.

• Familiarity with best practices in Salesforce architecture.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and standards.

• Evaluate third-party applications and integrations to determine their suitability for inclusion in Salesforce solutions.

• Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, releases, and best practices to continuously improve solution designs.

• Maintain existing structures and pipelines to standards agreed with specific business community using product.

• Agree and maintain an appropriate level of service.

• Apply advanced application design and data modeling skills to lead design and development initiatives.

• Understand HYG & Regulatory Compliance to recommend and deliver modernized solutions that are in strict alignment with all Government regulatory requirements.

• Stay up to date with the ongoing international data governance landscape to monitor potential and upcoming requirements.

• Your expertise in Salesforce architecture and best practices will be essential in guiding the development team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

• You can design the salesforce platform for better user experience, integrated end to end customer journey on OneXP platform leading to better lead generation, parts sales, unit sales and customer retention.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field work

• 7-10 years of related experience

• Salesforce.com (Sales, Service and Community cloud) experience is required.

• Experience in delivering technical solutions that meet the requirements of non-technical business stakeholders, effectively addressing the business’s needs within its scope.

• A deep understanding of Salesforce architecture to creating scalable, efficient, and secure architecture designs that align with industry best practices, scalability, and security requirements.

• The ability to collaborate with the Technical Architect on the technical solution.

• The ability to lead activities to create and refine the high-level solution design, getting input from key stakeholders including Technical Architect and Product Owner.

• The ability to provide solution design for the workstream capabilities while ensuring it fits with the overall program design decisions, sharing and security models, and architecture.
