Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced RN ICU/PCU/ Med Surg Tele nursesfor Travel in Greensville, NC

Position Details:

MUST LIVE OVER 50 MILES AWAY

Job Title: RN ICU/PCU/Med Surg Tele

Location: Greenville, NC

Shift: 12x3 Nights

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 3/17 Start

Requirements: Must have experience in ICU, PCU, andMed Surg Tele (will be required to float to all)

(*Central Float requires nurses to go between 3different hospitals (ECU Health Edgecombe, ECU Medical Center, ECU Beaufort). Theywill not travel to more than one facility per shift. We have a few nurses onthis assignment now and love it.

*For Housing it is best to stay in Greenville, NC thatputs you 30mins between Edgecombe and Beaufort's and minutes from the MedicalCenter.

The Critical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibilityand accountability for the application of the nursing process and the deliveryof patient care in a variety of critical care settings. Consistently performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities includemonitoring, assessment, vital sign monitoring, ventilator management,medication administration, intravenous insertion and infusion, central linecare, catheters, and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status.The Critical Care RN must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonaryresuscitation and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.

Minimum Requirements:

• CurrentRegistered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices

• One year of critical care experience is preferred

• Minimum of one year acute or critical care experiencepreferred

• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facilityrequirement)

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
