Our Young Adult Services department is seeking an experienced, innovated professional as our Youth Navigation Manager. As the department manager, you will oversee staff and assist youth and young adults aged 16-25 by removing barriers and disparities that hinder them from maintaining self-sufficiency. Our Young Adult Services Department offers a variety of housing and supportive services interventions ranging from emergency supplies, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, workforce development, permanent supportive housing, systems navigation and street outreach. You will implement and oversee day-to-day services of the Agency's youth and young adult focused navigation programs that include Westmoreland and surrounding counties. Using your knowledge of community resources, you will:

• Manage the Agency's youth and young adult focused navigation programs with limited oversight,
• Supervise, mentor, and train program staff to ensure they deliver quality service,
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure programs are operating in accordance with legal and Agency policies,
• Collaborate with individuals and groups, including program participants, property owners, funders and other partner agency staff, and external stakeholders to maintain and improve services, and
• Assist program participants in reviewing service plan goals and providing resources and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with major course work in either sociology, social work, psychology, counseling, education or other related field or two years of experience in public or private human services, of which one year must be mental health direct care experience.

• Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness/housing instability.
• Experience implementing trauma-informed care.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule within a 40-hour work week as program needs dictate.
• Administrative and computer knowledge and skills.
• Must be able to obtain child abuse, state police, fingerprint-based criminal background check, and sex offender registry clearances.
• Provide a certificate of or be able to complete Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training.
• Valid PA Driver's License required and must carry $15,000/$30,000 bodily liability car insurance.
