Manager Analytics & Insights – People Analytics

The position will support Human Resources and other Corporate Functions by providing effective people analytics and workforce planning insights to drive business decisions. The Manager of Analytics & Insights for People Analytics will aggregate large amounts of data to generate people-related insights that drive tangible actions and business results. In addition, you will play an integral role in the development and growth of our people analytics team.

This role will be lead aspects of people analytics and workforce planning analytics programs and data visualizations from conception through business integration. He/she will be responsible for the assessment of business requirements, driving technical discussion and the subsequent development of technology/analytic solutions. He/she will also help to develop VF’s future people analytics roadmap. He/she will be accountable for consulting with organizations within VF to assess and address needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage analytics programs which will generate data-driven insights through partnership and collaboration with business leaders and other subject matter experts.

  • Provide technical leadership for analytics projects and support work.

  • Organize and lead the aggregation of large amounts of data, establish processes based on industry best practice for HR data governance and data integrity, and perform data audits as needed.

  • Build analytic models and tools, and perform strategic analysis (e.g. descriptive statistics, segmentation, trend analysis, forecasting, regression analysis etc.)

  • Collaborate and build partnerships within HR and other organizations across VF to help drive analytic solutions and data-driven insights to meet business needs.

  • Present, explain and discuss results of analyses concisely and effectively to drive fact-based decision making at all levels within the organization.

  • Conduct external benchmarking on key metrics, analytics practices, and tools.

  • Identify opportunities and creative solutions to deliver business value through people analytics via active dialogue and engagement with a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Manage key strategic initiatives related to development and delivery of analytic solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ 5+ years of analytics, insights, and data management (MDM) experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with Python or R.

  • 3+ years of experience with databases and running SQL queries for data quality identification.

  • 3+ years of experience with Power BI or other data visualization software

  • 3+ years of experience in statistical modeling and analytical methodology including, regression, classification, clustering, time-series analysis etc.

  • 3+ years of experience with statistical modeling.

  • Passion for working with numbers and large datasets.

  • Extensive background and experience with data visualization and storytelling with data.

  • Highly analytical, self-motivated and desire for continuous learning in job-related subject matter

  • Human Resources experience helpful but not required.

  • BA/BS required; master’s degree in a quantitative field (analytics, statistics, operations research, mathematics, computer science, economics) from an accredited university is desirable.

Hiring Range :

$86,400.00 USD - $108,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
