Our client, a leading player in the automotive industry, is seeking a Senior Design Studio Engineer to join their innovative team. As a Senior Design Studio Engineer, you will be part of the Product Design Department, supporting the Design Studio and Physical Modeling Team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Design Studio Engineer

Location: Greensboro, NC

Pay Range: $ 50-55

What’s the Job?

• Ensure CAD data is complete and satisfactory for prototyping and manufacturing components.

• Design armatures and prepare CAD models and drawing packages for RFQ.

• Coordinate with suppliers for quoting prototypes as necessary.

• Work cross-functionally with the Design Studio to assist in planning events and prototype modeling activities.

• Build a cooperative network between the Design Studio and Engineering to resolve conflicts between feature requirements and technical feasibility.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum 5 years of experience within engineering and dealing with components.

• Proficiency in Catia V5 (minimum 10,000 hours) with knowledge of Creo being an asset.

• Excellent communication skills both verbally and visually, with the ability to propose engineering design solutions.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to task ownership and execution.

• Strong understanding of materials science, tooling methods, and manufacturing processes.
