Customer Service Representative -- Hillsboro, Ohio
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Opens new accounts, refers, and cross-sells the company's products and services
- Participates with branch management in maintaining a customer-focused environment and developing new ideas to increase business that will help achieve customer relationship objectives
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Opens new accounts for bank products and services and expands existing customer relationships through cross-selling or referring products and services to the appropriate areas
- Assists customers in person or by phone with Bank products and services to develop new business and to retain or expand existing business
- Maintain and balance cash drawer, balance and service automatic teller machine, and assist with night deposits
- Works with branch management to implement activities to ensure branch profit goals are achieved
- Assists the branch management team in coaching and training the teller staff to help develop skills and achieve branch sales goals
- Works with branch Tellers on warm hand-off procedures
- Assists branch personnel with operational duties and on Teller line as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience in financial industry preferred
- Ability to effectively utilize a computer and other standard office equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Must maintain a friendly, courteous and professional demeanor
- Customer service and cash handling skills required
