GREENFIELD - SEE WEBSITE FOR FULL JOB DESCRIPTION - Sewer & Drain Craftsman (Vactor) Operates Vactor and similar equipment in a safe and approved manner, following proper safety protocols and procedures. Performs construction, laying, repair, and maintenance of sewer mains, sewer services, drain lines, and associated components, all by departmental specifications and requirements. Education and Experience: High School or trade school diploma or equivalency required, or, a combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position. Three to five years of responsible experience with a working familiarity of the operational methods, materials, equipment required to perform the duties involved; and, ability to effectuate results for a wide variety of problems in the particular type of work. Special Requirements: Must hold a valid Massachusetts Class B Operator\'s License (CDL) with Air Brake with Tanker Certification; Hoisters Licenses 1C, 2B; and any other licenses/endorsements required by State or Federal law. Overtime hours may be necessary in unusual situations or emergencies. Salary Range: \$45,635 - \$54,766 DOE
