About the position: The Field Service Technical Specialist position supports Field Service, Warranty and Product Health teams internally, as well as S&SC technicians offering resolution to equipment related issues. The position requires day-to-day interaction with internal and external service teams engineering, product development, and factory staff. This role requires providing technical support in call center environment for current and previous truck side products during core hours. This role is mostly autonomous and receives limited supervision. When necessary, guidance from senior level management maybe required. Cross functional coordination efforts are frequently required in support of resolving various issues. These coordination responsibilities may extend to Solution and Support Centers as well as customer teams. This position requires spending significant amounts of time working in front of computer terminal.

Technical Skills:

  • Provides technical support in call center environment on current and previous truck side products during core hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • Provides training to Raymond Solutions and Support Centers on any new truck side products.
  • Specializes in a specific product and provides 2nd level escalation support to resolve issues.
  • Acts as Raymond representative in high visibility and sensitive customer environment.
  • Required to complete Technician Primer Course, Train the Trainer, and core truck classes.
  • Leads intra-departmental problem-solving teams. Must participate and provide competent input in various projects and product development.
  • Competent review and development of Raymond and other than Raymond manuals, and training scripts.
  • Expected to handle call desk responsibilities on a daily basis, including courteous customer service as well as competent completion of Service Now interactions, cases, knowledge articles, and tasks.
  • Competent knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems is required.

  • Exchanges sensitive information and resolves issues with senior level staff inside and outside the company over a variety of equipment related issues.

About you:

  • An Associate’s Degree OR a certificate in a job related program is preferred.
  • 4 or more years of related experience.
  • Must pass the Technical Primer Class and Operator Certification.

About the total compensation package:

Salary - $65,200 - $85,00 per year, depending on qualifications of selected candidate.

Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.
