Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworker to work in Greenbush, MN. From: 02/01/2025 to 12/01/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 7 hrs./day, Sat. 5 hrs./day. 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective January 1st, 2024, Employers must provide each employee in Minnesota at least one hour of safe and sick time for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours in a year. JOB DUTIES: Worker will assist Manager with turkeys; walking through barns checking on health and vigor of turkeys, repair and maintenance of feed and watering equipment, assist in placing new birds, moving birds from brooder barns to finishers, assist in preparing for loading out birds for market, assist in bedding birds, move feed from holding bins to barns, set up augers and drive feed trucks, clean and disinfect barns and equipment, replace light bulbs, feed pans and waterers as needed. Work performed requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over and repetitive movements. Employer may request but cannot require worker to work on their Sabbath. Employer may pay an hourly rate above the minimum required and/or offer a bonus. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience in job duties listed; able to lift 60 lbs.; possible random drug test post hire at no cost to the worker: testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment; No high school diploma/GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
