JOB REQUIREMENTS: The job consists of stocking and retrieving inventory as needed. Tagging and prepping parts for shipping. Keeping area clean and organized, helping with getting parts ready to be sold. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Mark stock items, using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Operate equipment such as forklifts. Transport packages to customers\' vehicles. Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment. Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected. Complete order receipts. Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions. Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise. Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer. Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Good penmanship, organizational skills and attention to detail. Pleasant, able to work with others, follow thru, and some lifting is required. You will be responsible for loading and unloading parts some will be large items including transmissions and engines. Experience with equipment helps but not required will train. Tagging, stocking disposing of auto parts. Retrieving parts as needed.
