You belong here. See why you will love working at NWTC. POSITION SUMMARY Assist in the administration and processing of financial information in accordance with applicable regulations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to resolve student finance related issues for students. Essential Functions Statement(s) Serve as the primary resource in resolving complaints and initiating resolution on student finance related issues through the district. Maintain the student information system as it relates to financial data and records; process and review financial information in accordance with federal state regulations along with standard accounting and financial procedures. Serve as the liaison between multiple federal and state agencies to process funding as well as, investigate and resolve complex problems and issues encountered by staff and students. Perform complex record management and analysis on various financial sources; maintain and monitor specialized funding programs and budgets; manage and reconcile financial accounts. Interpret and communicate technical and financial regulatory updates; generate reports and review analytics to recommend process improvements. Assist in the design, development, and implementation of policies and procedures; research new uses of technology and best practices; develop and implement process improvements. Coordinate with Instructional Information Technology the implementation of new technology and system enhancements. Participate on project implementation teams, perform testing, and update system tables. Train employees throughout the district on the processes and procedures related to the student information systems and financial regulatory compliance. Create and maintain training documentation. Facilitate the development and implementation of communication to the College community and the general public. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Three years related experience. **An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
