Job Title – Accounting Supervisor

Reporting to – Assistant Plant Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead the cattle procurement accounting team

• Assist with month closing, performing journal entries and account reconciliations

• Assist with annual MPR audit

• Ensure all cattle payments are sent on time to producers, according to compliance

• Bank account reconciliations

• Ensure accuracy of data input in CPS, consequently the accuracy of payments to producers

• Ensure that proper documentation is being maintained, according to compliance

• Other accounting duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• 3 years of cattle procurement accounting experience

• Computer skills

• People and leadership skills

• Strong management and prioritizations skills

• Detail oriented

• Accounting or related field degree is desirable
