Position Description:
This role will perform legal administrative functions, including management and distribution of corporate and legal information, provide administrative support for a wide variety of legal department processes, procedures, platforms and special projects.
Compensation Range (Colorado Only)
$20-$25 per hour
Essential Duties:
Provide legal administrative support to department attorneys and paralegals for company operations nationwide.
Assists in administering and maintaining the company’s legal programs and processes and interface with other corporate departments and operations personnel.
Read, route and file incoming mail and communications and prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mails.
Compose routine correspondence and other written communications.
Answer telephone calls and serve as the department’s initial point of contact for internal and external inquires and other communications.
Support and maintain legal matter file platform (Filevine). Contract template platforms and other legal platforms.
Support department functions, programs, processes and procedures, such as licensing and registration, as assigned.
Administer legal invoice payment and department payroll functions.
Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations.
Arrange and coordinate department events and meetings, prepares agendas, reserves, and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
Order and maintain supplies and arranges for equipment maintenance and replacement.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of proven experience in an administrative support position and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong sense of integrity and a firm understanding of and adherence to confidentiality principles is required.
Understands and meets quality standards.
Ability to comprehend and execute written and verbal instructions.
Ability to read, organize and distribute legal communications and memoranda, including the ability to write draft basic correspondence.
Effectively communicates and presents information in one-on-one and small group settings involving clients, other employees of the organization and outside parties.
Willingness to take direction and follow instructions and the ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Excellent organizational and data processing skills
Willingly asks questions and implements new and more effective process and procedures.
Works collaboratively with others and fosters a positive work environment related to teamwork.
Prior experience in a legal setting preferred.

Visual acuity and ability to operate a vehicle as certified and appropriate.
