Global Energy Procurement Analyst
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: Reporting to the Sr. Global Energy Category Manager, the Category Analyst is responsible for supporting the sourcing and management of JBS’s energy needs and ensures all business requirements are accounted for in category strategies. The Category Analyst role is critical in supporting sourcing through involvement in category strategy creation and directly supporting supplier identification, selection, and supporting negotiation to ensure the highest level of service and reliability in supply. The Category Analyst will identify and build strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Work cross-functionally with plant buyers, sustainability, and internal business stakeholders to develop business requirements for sourcing events and GHG reduction efforts
Collaborate with Energy Category Manager to develop sourcing strategies for purchasing natural gas, electricity, diesel, and bulk cryogenic gases to reduce costs and/or mitigate risk
Utilize internal and external (market research) analysis in sourcing and risk management decisions to ensure category objectives and targets are being met
Support Energy Category Manager in creating cash flow models, forecasting, and ongoing oversite of existing and new energy projects
Perform spend analytics and identify sourcing levers to achieve targeted savings and optimized Total Cost of Ownership through strategic sourcing initiatives
Support the Energy Category Manager by leading strategic sourcing events and associated support activity including development of sourcing profiles, execution of sourcing strategies and management of supplier contracts and pricing agreements.
Maintain database of pricing and usage information for natural gas, electricity, and Nitrogen/Co2
Perform daily usage analysis to optimize natural gas nominations and reduce cost
Stay informed of regulatory rate cases for utilities which could materially impact costs for plants
Spot check invoices from utilities to ensure proper price, taxation, and fees.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance,Engineering or related fieldpreferred
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact in a cross-functional team environment
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and general curiosity
Effective written and oral communications skills
Understanding & interestof supply/commodity markets a plus
Proven level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
As a salaried position with the company,you may be required totravel at some pointto other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits:Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Base salaryrange of$55,000-$70,000;and
Incentive Pay:This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
