Corporate Payroll Garnishment Coordinator

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is looking for a Payroll Garnishment Coordinator to join our Shared Services team onsite at our Corporate office in Greeley, CO. This person is part of the team processing garnishments, child supports, tax levies, etc. in the U.S. and Canada for 68,000+ team members. We are looking for a long-term team member to grow within the company and help us fulfill our mission of being the best in all that we do.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize incoming garnishment files: mail, email, online portals

  • Submit and/or complete verifications of employment

  • Responsible for timely and accurate data entry of garnishment orders in SAP

  • Answer all garnishment documentation requests and respond to the agency/creditor

  • Maintain garnishment documentation including scanning and saving all orders

  • Ensure garnishment payments are sent to the appropriate agencies or creditors

  • Research checks received from agencies. Code checks for deposit and enter refund coding in SAP

  • Provide customer service to employees, vendors, and our HR/payroll teams seeking information

  • Miscellaneous payroll tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 0-3 years of experience in similar role

  • Payroll knowledge preferred

  • SAP, Excel knowledge preferred

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the job

  • Must have attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated, proactive, and dependable

  • Must be able to multi-task various projects and tasks

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely to internal and external customers

  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; and

  • Base salary range of $20-$22/hr;
