Assistant Brand Manager - Retail

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The Assistant Brand Manager will be a key member to our Brand team, who can adapt in a fast-paced environment with multi-functional partners and has a passion to work on challenger brands. This role will support in all aspects of marketing programs managed by the Senior Brand Manager, including digital marketing, customer sales meeting s , events, and other marketing tasks as needed to support both Pilgrim’s and Just Bare.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Brand Manager in the execution of strategic marketing programs and brand plans including digital marketing, innovation projects, creative development, and events .

  • Assist in developing short-term brand strategy and annual plans .

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute marketing initiatives including work closely with Sales and Category Management teams to ensure brand objectives are met .

  • Manage communication between agency and brand team from brief to execution .

  • Assist in partnership with Insights to lead consumer research on consumer targeting, marketing, product optimization, product development and brand-building initiatives.

  • Support managing the brands yearly budget .

  • Responsible for gathering and presenting project/campaign timelines, budget, KPIs, reporting, and optimization .

  • Manage and maintain physical inventory and digital asset libraries of sales collateral, marketing materials, swag, etc.

  • Assist Senior Brand Manager with innovation projects, as needed .

  • Performs other duties as assigned .

    Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree, Marketing or Business preferred.

  • 1+ years marketing experience, consumer packaged goods experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Strong project coordination skills and demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and desire to take initiative.

  • Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including communication and relationship-building.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Required.

  • Strong paid and organic digital marketing knowledge on social media platforms, search engines.

  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.     The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

  • Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k) : company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

  • Base salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 ; and

  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
