SUMMARY Provides high quality forensic interviewing services to children regarding allegations of child maltreatment while working on close partnership with the Child Advocate Specialist. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum educational requirement of Bachelor's degree in a human service field, criminal justice or law or closely related field, two years of experience working with abused children and adolescents preferred. An understanding of the dynamics of a multi-disciplinary, community-based response to civil and criminal allegations of child abuse and neglect is preferred. Certificate of completion of a nationally accredited forensic interview curriculum and completion of the Oregon Child Forensic Interview Guidelines Training within 60 days of hiring be on file, and positive employee evaluations.
