Job Summary

Corewell Health Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC full-time physician to join their rapidly growing Surgical Optimization Center. Join a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary practice with a dedicated group of physicians and APPs, Pre-Admission Testing RN’s, Nurse Navigators, Tobacco Treatment Specialists, phlebotomy, and other clinical and clerical care team members.

Opportunity Overview

• Assessing medically complex and high-acuity patients prior to a procedure at any of our 13 Corewell Health West Facilities

• Review patient care plans with APPs, Pre-Admission Testing RNs, surgeons, and anesthesia team members

• In person and virtual visits

• Weekdays only / No Holidays

• Occasional on-call weekends for critical lab results only

• Potential for growth opportunities in many perioperative areas including blood management, smoking cessation, diabetes management, nutrition, and senior health

Qualifications

License - Michigan MD/DO

Certification – BLS (Basic Life Support)
