Description Overview Business partner to the CSCA Over the Counter (OTC) leadership team. Provides leadership with consultation advice on the financial implications and the risk of business activities, and recommendations on mitigation options. Increases the ROIC for the CSCA segment by focusing on improvements to plant efficiencies, input costs, capacity utilization and working capital. Scope of the Role Develop financial management actions that drive the business to achieve targets Monitor the performance of each category, critically analyzing gaps to plan. Develop and assess gross margin improvement initiatives across each Category. Drive inventory levels that are optimal to ensure consistent customer service levels while managing working capital and reduced obsolescence costs. Through accurate forecast of performance, identify potential gaps in a timely manner and drive early actions to close. Provide leadership with financial advice and strategic direction on business initiatives that drive the achievement of short and long range plan targets. Bring intellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo and legacy practices to enable the Category to best allocate resources to the initiatives that drive the greatest value to OTC and Perrigo. Manage Category budget including product costs, variances, CAPEX, and working capital levels Lead the yearly budget exercise and quarterly forecast process with OTC and Corporate partners Reports and investigates variances to standard costs and other KPIs to provide an accurate financial situation with identification of risk and opportunity. Manages and motivates staff; reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department. Experience Required Typically twelve plus years of increasingly responsible experience in a large corporate environment; with a proven track record in overcoming business challenges.
