Status: Non-exempt, Part-Time 16-29 hours/week *Schedule: *Varies, M-F, every other weekend rotation

     * Position Summary:*

The position of the Dining Services Porter is to assist and carry out the function of the department in a caring and thoughtful way within the Mission and Vision Statement of Brio Living Services.  The role of the Dining Services Porter is to maintain the sanitation of the department and organization of department stock and storage.  The porter position washes dishes, pots & pans, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation regulations of the State and Federal Guidelines.  Appropriately stores washed dishes, utensils and cooking equipment. Additionally maintaining floor care, sweeping, and mopping of assigned areas and trash removal throughout the assigned shift.  The Porter also offers support to the Culinary Team as needed and receives all supply & food deliveries. 

The position of Dining Services Porter additionally is to perform all job duties and assigned tasks as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dining policies and procedures of regulated state and federal agencies.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age
  2. All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, professional reference checks, TB screen and physical assessment at time of hire.

NOTE: The rate of pay will be determined based on relevant employment experience. Your resume should adequately reflect all paid dining services experience.
