Job Title: Cleanroom Assembler

Job Description

Join a dedicated and high-performing team at our new Grand Rapids, MI site. As a Cleanroom Assembler, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices. This role is integral to our mission of alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life for millions of people worldwide. You will work in a clean room manufacturing environment, requiring personal protective equipment such as eyewear, earplugs, hair net, and protective gowning.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations following Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions.

• Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare products.

• Make continuity checks on work in process and completed products.

• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

• Operate packaging machines.

• Box and apply labeling materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a clean room manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Experience using measuring devices and hand tools is beneficial.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean room manufacturing environment that requires personal protective equipment including eyewear, earplugs, hair net, and protective gowning. The position is for the 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
