Civil Design Engineer

Hours:

Hiring for first shift! Must be flexible to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Hybrid role- MUST be local or willing to commute to Grand Rapids, MI

• 3 Days in Office, 2 Days Remote

Must haves:

• 3+ years of civil design experience in Civil 3D for land development / site development projects

• Experience in civil site design for K-12 education school/commercial projects

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

• EIT or PE License

• Able to work a hybrid schedule in Grand Rapids, MI

• Proven experience in Civil 3D

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and site plan development including grading, drainage, zoning, and utilities

• Prepare project drawings, calculations, and specifications

• Prepare schematic design and drawings, layouts, drafting, and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Evaluate land use and zoning requirements - zoning ordinances and site plan approval

• Prepare permit applications, agency review, and approvals.

• Site visits during the construction phase of the projects
