Description

We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to join our team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, your primary functions will revolve around maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing financial support services. This is a long-term contract opportunity where you will be immersed in various facets of the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Conduct Bank Reconciliations regularly to verify the company's records with those of the bank.

• Maintain and manage bookkeeping records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.

• Perform data entry tasks and maintain the integrity of financial data.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial reports and statements.

• Assist in Month-End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accounted for.

• Process Payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Utilize QuickBooks for managing and processing various accounting transactions.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Strong Bookkeeping skills

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Experience with Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle Month End Close tasks

• Experience in Payroll management

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
