Job Description

• Candidate will be doing repetitive assembly work in different stations. 7 total stations. They should expect to be on their feet around the facility for a large portion of their work day.

-These candidates will be helping assemble large AC units in a manufacturing environment

-Work assignments may change station by station depending on customer needs

-Daily use of hand tools and power tools

-Assemble different components of the AC unit, these units are large and go out to commercial buildings like apartment complexes, hospitals, large buildings, etc

-Adhere to all safety protocols, safety will be a huge piece and candidates will take part in safety training their first week

-Candidates will find themselves also doing the following once fully trained: brazing, soldering, operating machines and presses, hanging and unhanging parts, and performing quality checks and tests

-Units will be tested many times before being sent out on trucks

-Report any malfunctions or defects to the production supervisor

-As time progresses with training, candidates may find themselves getting into these units to properly assemble other components. (This should show how large these units are)

-Candidates will learn to understand a blueprint

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVES

1) 6 months of manufacturing

2) Physically inclined, candidates will bend and twist getting into AC units to assemble

2a) Ability to lift 40lbs, repetitively (up to 44 times per shift)- from previous work history

2b) Okay with climbing into the units (not confined space from OSHA standards)

4) Good attitude and willingness to learn, they will train candidates from ground zero

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
