Lockheed Martin Supply Chain Subcontract Professional / Expat: Saudi Arabia in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: Very exciting and important opportunity as an Expatriate Subcontract Manager for projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Responsible for the management of supplier performance including cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for international programs - primarily the THAAD program.

Leads multi-functional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Leads the

development of subcontract specifications, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an ExPatriot, living in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Lockheed Martin’s Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Global Supply Chain team is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented problem- solver. The successful candidate will

support ongoing growth in projects with the THAAD Localization team. Primary responsibilities will be focused on support and execution of significant Localization project efforts in support of FMS THAAD contracts.

Responsibilities will include interfacing with management both internally and at various subcontractors/suppliers, reporting status and performance metrics to program level management, ensuring timely delivery and quality of direct material to the production and other required sites in support of program milestones. A significant amount of interface is

required with program office personnel and various functional departments and suppliers in Kingdom. Cross-functional knowledge, partnering and leadership with Program Management, Global Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Production Operations will be essential for success in this role. This position is responsible for negotiating prices, performing

price/cost analysis, and supporting development and negotiation of sub-contracts as required by Lockheed Martin

Acquisition Procedures (LMAP), local Site Work Instructions, and Command Media.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the procurement and management of subcontracts for complex subsystems, components, parts, and hardware in support of program needs.

Duties include: Representing Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain Organization (GSCO) as a prime Point of Contact (POC) for subcontracts or projects, Manage complex subcontracts, including those with Spec/SOW-driven requirements, and other specific procurements as required, Prepare and release Requests for Proposals (RFPs), receive, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract price, terms and conditions, select or recommend subcontractors, document agreements, administer resulting subcontracts / POs, including subcontract / PO closeout Negotiate modifications to subcontracts, develop positive working relationships, and interface with suppliers via phone, email, and onsite visits, as required. Confirm and / or expedite material deliveries to support program production dates.

Basic Qualifications:

*Expat Position Located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia*

-Ability to lead projects & teams to execute Supply Chain subcontracts and sourcing activities in an executing capacity as a Purchasing agent/Buyer/Subcontract Administrator

-Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures associated with FAR / DFAR requirements

-Working knowledge of standard contract types

-Experience with SAP based procurement system

-Experience managing supplier relationships and cross functional teams

-Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense or Aerospace industries

-Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated communication, negotiation, presentation and documentation skills

-Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters which often requires coordination between functional organizations

-Must have ability to obtain a Secret security

clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
