Lockheed Martin Sr. DevSecOps Engineer / Secret Clearance / Onsite Grand Prairie, TX in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: This role is a DevSecOps position focused on Digital Transformation (DX) and building the next generation of infrastructure. This position has high customer engagement and will work with engineers, developers, and scientists across multiple departments to deliver new capabilities. The candidate will be providing day-to-day user support of multiple Kubernetes environments and collaborating with senior engineers to design the DevSecOps architecture and working with the IT Systems Engineers to build the infrastructure necessary to scale it. Infrastructure as Code (Iac) is a large component of this position, and candidates will be given the opportunity to grow their scripting/programming skills. This will include working with multiple container run-times and Kubernetes distributions to deploy applications across the environment. The candidate will partner with multiple development teams to help ensure their CI/CD Pipelines can fully leverage the infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance

• Linux OS Administration

• Scripting and/or Programming (Python, Shell, Powershell, C++, etc.)

• Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects with the ability to balance technical requirements with business needs and affordability

• Demonstrated collaboration and teaming skills at all levels of the organization

Desired Skills:

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

• Experience with containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Podman, LXC, Singularity/Apptainer, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Terraform, Ansible)

• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and version control such as Git

• Kubernetes Orchestration Experience

• Test Driven Development Experience

• Container Hardening/CIS Blueprint implementation Experience

• Full Stack/Microservice Application Architecture knowledge

• DISA STIG Familiarity

• C++/Java/Golang/C# Build System Knowledge

• Cloud Provider Experience

• Data Visualizations/Dashboarding (Tableau)

• Familiarity with DoD Platform One and/or Software Factory Implementations

• Agile Lifecycle Management

• Artifact Management

• Database Management

• Experience with Static Code Analysis Tools

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
