Lockheed Martin Quality Assurance Analyst Asc in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for a position in the Materials Test Lab Grand Prairie, TX responsible for:

Supporting the quality business processes of the Quality Engineering group including the following:

Designing efficient data collection techniques

Performing data analysis to identify trends and support decision making

Conducting causal analyses

Performing corrective / preventive action planning, execution, and verification

Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency of Quality

Engineering business processes

Evaluating systemic issues and potential risks

Communicating with Program and Departmental managers to establish analysis project goals and objectives

Preparing high impact presentations and reports

Supporting Quality estimating activities with fact finding, data mining, and analysis of historical data for labor, travel expenses and manpower

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree

Ability to organize and track multiple activities and prioritize task based on importance

Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration

Demonstrated problem solving skills

Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation, Technical Writing.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

Ability to review data and identify trends

Candidates for this position may be required to lift objects (parts, equipment, etc.) up to 35 pounds for review or evaluation in a manufacturing area where the use of Personal Protection Equipment (protective footwear, eye/hearing protection, etc) is required.

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Ability to travel

Ability to work overtime as needed to support the assignment needs

Desired Skills:

Demonstrated understanding of data and metrics evaluation

Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes, and related performance metrics

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence software

Demonstrated understanding of financial metrics

Preferred degree in Data Sciences, Statistics or equivalent.
