AltaGas - Maintenance 3, Instrumentation

AltaGas requires an enthusiastic, proactive, innovative, and motivated individual to join our Team at the Pipestone and Dimsdale Plants. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will support the maintenance activities at the facilities

You will:

• Assess, troubleshoot, and resolve device, system, and process issues with operations support.

• Assisting with parts inventory to minimize downtime of facility equipment.

• Assist with the maintenance activities surrounding analyzers, meters, and instrumentation devices.

• Preform maintenance PM and CM activities on Instrumentation.

• Assist with turnaround execution activities for maintenance at the facilities.

• Support and cross train with Electrical and Automation for inter departmental skills.

• Work with Operations to ensure effective job planning.

• Provide Maintenance assistance for other plant trades.

• Utilize the Maximo Maintenance software system to the full capabilities.

• Other duties deemed necessary for safe and effective operation of Pipestone and Dimsdale

You have:

• Indentured Alberta Instrumentation Apprentice.

• Minimum of 1-3 years industry experience with gas plant experience an asset.

• Strong work ethic and a positive and team-based attitude with the ability to adapt to change.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

• Attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• H2S Alive, First Aid, CPR, Confined Space Entry certifications

• Computer knowledge would be considered an asset.

• Electrical Journeyman ticket or apprenticeship considered an asset.

• Local residence (reasonable response time for callouts) considered an asset.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and sound decision-making skills.
