Job Overview: We are kicking off a program to help Dentists fill Dental Hygienist/Assistance Jobs here is Mesa County when a Hygienist/Assistant is sick, on vacation, or out of the office for any number of other reasons. However, before we can kick this off to the dentists, we need to have a list of qualified Hygienists/Assistants on file to be able to send out. We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. Duties: - Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Take and develop dental X-rays - Maintain patient records accurately - Perform periodontal charting and assist with treatment planning - Administer local anesthesia under the dentist's supervision Requirements: - Valid Dental Hygienist license - Proficiency in dental assisting and aseptic techniques - Knowledge of dental receptionist duties - Familiarity with endodontics and pediatric dentistry - Ability to operate X-ray machines and 3D scanners - Understanding of anatomy and HIPAA regulations Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience with 3D scanning technology - Familiarity with pediatric dentistry - Knowledge of HIPAA compliance procedures Join our team to provide exceptional dental care in a supportive environment.
