Local Roto-milling company in Grand Junction looking for Asphalt Groundman!

Full time, travel is required. $20/hr plus additional PER DIEM for out of town travel.

Job description:

-Basic asphalt knowledge including milling, paving, striping, and ability to operate equipment. Observe milling machine operation and adjust controls to ensure conformance with specified tolerance. -Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment, using machines, hand tools, or report malfunctions to supervisors. -Must work quickly, productively, and safely to meet production goals as outlined by the Project Manager. -Must be an advocate of safety and follow safety policies and procedures. -Actively participate in job-site and safety meetings and all Company related training. -Must partner with other crew members and perform additional tasks of other positions as instructed by the crew foreman and/or upper management to ensure daily schedules are met. -Must always maintain a courteous and professional manner with supervisors, co-workers, customers, and the public. -Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to be insured,(cannot have a DUI within the last 5 years).

-Prefer 2 years experience asphalt experience
