Description:
Performs professional duties related to a variety of radiographic technical procedures and CT Scan procedures using ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis and therapy.
Status: Casual
What you will need:
Graduate of an approved school of Radiographic Technology
Current ARRT, RT (R) without restriction and CR registered within 1 year.
What you will do:
Perform CT Scans of all types including head, body and extremity scans.
Perform interventional CT scans for biopsies or various drainage procedures.
Positions patient carefully and accurately to obtain requested examination.
Select correct x-ray technical factor combinations or CT Scan factors to procedure high quality images.
Provides appropriate radiation shielding and collimation to adhere to ALARA principles.
Places orders and charges in the hospital information computer as needed.
