Summary

This role will ensure the proper receiving, stocking and inventory of parts and materials. This job also assists with the issuing and completing of purchase orders.

  • Able to read and comprehend Bill of Ladings, Manifests, Receiving Records and inventory records.

  • Able to write required information on Purchase Order Requests, Receiving Records and Bill of Ladings.

  • Able to apply basic math skills when writing and editing purchase order requests and receiving records, checking shipments against Manifests, performing inventory counts and calculating weights for materials.

  • Able to use computers for data entry.

  • Able to effectively communicate on the phone with and in person with customers, vendors, supervisors, employees and maintenance personnel.

  • Able to lift 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work with detailed information.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Able to learn to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.

  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and support groups.
